A Legacy in Motion: The Alumni State Champion Wall Reveal
Ascension Episcopal School
On a night charged with pride, gratitude, and unmistakable Blue Gator spirit, Ascension Episcopal School unveiled its new Alumni State Champion Wall, an enduring tribute to the athletes who helped shape our legacy of excellence.
More than a display of names and titles, the wall tells a story. It honors the Blue Gators who rose to the highest level of competition in their sports, capturing state championships through discipline and resilience. These alumni once trained on our fields, courts, and tracks. They competed with integrity and represented Ascension with pride.
The reveal ceremony brought together alumni, current student-athletes, coaches, families, and friends, each generation connected by a shared commitment to excellence. As the curtain dropped, applause filled the space. For alumni, it was a moment of reflection. For current students, it was inspiration made visible.
In a relatively short time since the opening of the Sugar Mill Pond Upper School campus in 2009, Blue Gator athletics has built a reputation for both competitive success and strong character formation. Coaches emphasize discipline, resilience, and daily commitment—traits that translate beyond championship games.
The Alumni State Champion Wall now stands as a visible reminder of that foundation. It connects the school’s early high school pioneers with today’s teams and tomorrow’s contenders.
For a school whose high school chapter is still young in the broader history of the school, the message is clear: excellence here is not accidental. It is built—season by season, class by class, Blue Gator by Blue Gator.
The Episcopal Church of the Ascension School (Ascension Episcopal School) admits qualified students without regard to race, religion, sexual orientation, or national origin. We are a welcoming community.
